Shake up the Weekend with a Paper Plane

The Paper Plane cocktail, a modern classic born in the early 21st century, has taken the mixology world by storm. The cocktail was conceived by renowned bartender Sam Ross in 2007, the Paper Plane cocktail is a testament to the true craft of mixology. Originally crafted at the Milk & Honey bar in New York City, Ross's creation quickly gained popularity for its perfect blend of bourbon, Aperol, Amaro Nonino, and fresh squeezed lemon juice. It is a delight and without a doubt one of our favorite whiskey cocktails.

 




Recipe:

  • 3/4 oz Bourbon

  • 3/4 oz Aperol

  • 3/4 oz Amaro Nonino

  • 3/4 oz Fresh Lemon Juice

 

Measure all four ingredients into a shaker with ice.

Shake vigorously and strain into a chilled coupe glass.

Garnish with a curled lemon peel.


The Paper Plane cocktail has rightfully earned its place on many of the finest bar menus. It is a symphony of flavors, with the warmth of the bourbon, the citrusy brightness of Aperol and the unique complexity of Amaro Nonino.
